I think you pegged this right: Jinpei is thinking of this from Jun's perspective, but mostly in somewhat selfish terms, which is typical for a young teenager. He's pprimarily centered on how this all affects him, rather than Ken's or Joe's feelings.
Author's Response: I think you've summed him up very well there, he is viewing it all from a rather selfish POV, but he still cares about Jun and is trying to figure it all out through his limited understanding. Thanks for reading and leaving the review, it is very much appreciated. :)

I love getting poor Jinpei's perspective on this whole mess. Such a mess, and he's right, the so-called adults really don't have a handle on it anymore than he does. He's so disappointed and disillusioned and has every right to be.
Even when I beta-ed this, the writing was very smooth, and Jinpei's voice came out loud and strong. Well done. :)
