The Chief handles this with surprising delicacy. It's smart to point out the potentially dire consequences for Mark. Even if later she thinks she sees signs that he does want her, she'll be more likely to think twice in worry about what might happen to him, unless hormones and impulses take over. Heh. I'm surprised she's not furious with Mark for ratting her out, but that could come later after she's had more time to think. (Either that or she's relieved that he handled it professionally, or she realizes he HAD to say something before it could come back to cause him huge problems.)
Author's Response: Thanks. I figured the chief would have anticipated such things happening, and be prepared for it. I mean a young girl growing up and working with three boys of similar age.... he just wouldn't know which one she would hit on until it happened.

WAH! Poor Princess...Mark is such a "playa"- LOL! But he could've let her down a little easier than he did. Maybe he felt guilty about it and asked the Chief to talk to her.
Glad the Chief smoothed it over. I'm sure Mark and Princess' time will come after the war is over. *grin*
Author's Response: I suppose there could be an element of guilt in Mark's actions, Springie. Who knows what will happen after the war...... :P

Love the interaction between Princess and Anderson here - a tender moment without being syrupy. I wonder if Mark will have words with her or if he'll just pretend it never happened?
Author's Response: Thank you.I'm glad you liked it. I think Mark fulfilled his responsibilities in the matter by informing Anderson. He'll just let the matter drop now....
