Poor Mark. I've thought on occasion that the flirting Jun does is kind of sexual harassment and puts Ken in a bad situation. It's iffier with BOTP since Mark does seem to reciprocate her feelings. I wonder if the Chief's more annoyed that Princess made a move, or that Mark basically hid behind him with excuses. :)

Author's Response: Thanks for your reviews, Chris. I'm inclined to think the latter, a situation like this was inevitable under the circumstances. The chief wouldn't want romantic entanglements complicating what is already a difficult job for them though.

Ah...that's the sheepish commander for ya, totally dense when it comes to matters of the heart. It's good to hear that he feels the same way for her. Too bad he can't tell her...

Author's Response: Don't you feel sorry for him sometimes? He's trying to do the right thing, yet he still manages to get it wrong.... Thanks for your review.

I enjoyed this, although I'm not quite clear on why Anderson is angry at the end. He seems to suspect their feelings are mutual and Mark is following protocol.

Author's Response: Thanks for your comment, jublke. The chief was angry because Mark was defending Princess' actions, while he was happy to let her take all the responsibility, possibly because the repercussions would be less severe for her.

Oh dear....it looks like Mark might have been better off if he'd kept his mouth shut about his true feelings for Princess!

Author's Response: I know.... it seems he can't do right for doing wrong, eh? Thanks for your response.
