Poor Joe! That was so sad! A part of me wonders whether Ken would've done the same if Red Impulse was the cyborg. And I liked the idea of turning the concept of Joe as a cyborg on its head and using it for his father.
Plus that dream, in the beginning of the fic... Wow!

Poor Joe, I really felt for him throughout this fic. Seems he cannot catch a break.
