I love all of the stories in your AU, but you have a special knack for mission-based, action-driven fic. Your ability to write such vivid battle scenes is a gift I truly admire. Poor Mark! His bad day surely puts mine into perspective.

Made me teary the 2nd time through too. And yeah, self-diagnosis ain't great. :) But I've had friends with MS and they do describe random ability failures. Going blind and then being able to see. All kinds of stuff. Often starting out in a way that no one believes them until one day they finally are just so freaking relieved to get the diagnosis. But none of them was a super-teen defending the earth. :)
Heck, I'm sorry Chris, you've left all these reviews and I only just saw them! Much appreciated all the same...
You have the good people at fanfic_med to blame for this one. I'd read about MS being tough to diagnose and it taking ages, so I took Mark's symptoms over there and asked them what they thought he was likely to be diagnosed with instead.
To a man, they said, "Hypochondria."
