Another story that I neglected to leave a review for somehow the first time I read it. The last 2 paragraphs -- the last 2 sentences, really -- are powerful and a little heartbreaking. You've let Ken's empathy and gentleness shine through here, even with all the blood and fighting. The banter with Joe wanting to go flirt with the girls in the beginning was also quite fun. :)

I kind of wonder how many of those kids look at how young Gatchaman is and ultimately decide they want to make a difference in the world, too. And how many end up too scarred to do much at all. Hopefully their parents will ultimately see how brave their kids are for what they did!
