I came to Gatchaman through Battle of the Planets. When Gatchaman hit the video stores, I picked up the entire series.
I have a BA in English, and I work in building maintenance at a psychiatric facility. My job entails minor plumbing, electrical and lock repair work (and the patients keep me busy doing all of that).
There is a reason why Santa doesn't show up on Zark's surveillance systems at Christmas time.
Only you.
And it leads to the questions: what does the Chief have on Santa, why can't Santa get the evidence back, and -- WHAT DOES THE CHIEF HAVE ON SANTA???

“The number 3 song is a cover of Wind Beneath My Wings by Condor Joe.”

Mark shook his head in the dark. He wasn’t the most up-to-date in popular music, but he had never heard of these crazy groups.

This was the very first fic I ever wrote, and clearly it was inspired by my re-discovery of BOTP.

Cats'll do that to you: 'No, no, I can't possibly take care of a cat.' Then you take it in for a bit, and next thing you know, the little bugger's charming the crap out of you. Even while doing something bad: 'What? Me? I didn't do anything. Nope, not at all.'
Oh, about the weapons and swearing: so true. Moral Guardians think we're all morons.

An interesting explanation of Katse's talent for disguise (and where he keeps the uniform until the 'reveal').
Rather sad. Not allowed to have a life outside of Galactor, under the micro-managing thumb of a being that doesn't accept failure. No wonder the poor guy goes nuts at the end.
Mark and Princess struggle to define their relationship while Zoltar launches a sinister new plot to destroy the Earth. Oh, and silent feline observes both sides of the same story. [Follows Isolation in time line]
I only ever heard of ice-nine in the novel 'Cat's Cradle' by Kurt Vonnegut.

There is a theory that should the Answer and the Question coexist at the same time, the entire Universe would vanish and be replaced with something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory that suggests this has already happened.
Rather scary. And I can also see Zark doing that, because he cares about the team so much. What makes it worse is that there are humans who would prefer to NOT deal with abuse in just the same way.
I liked the sequel.
(BTW, there are a couple of unfinished fics of yours on this site. Will they be finished soon?)

And yeah, that was the point where Zark postulated the idea that if Mark didn't remember, he'd be okay. But which of course wasn't true. Glad you enjoyed it.
Re: unfinished fics... Yes, I'll be on them eventually. I decided this year to conscientiously work on the back log of unfinished fics gathering dust on my HD. But don't hold your breath, my muse has been very stubborn about finishing mult-iparters -_-;;;

Author's Response: Thanks. As for Zoltar... I never really thought so far. Just gave the idea that he was a decent enough being after all to feel guilty about what he had done to Mark.
