Wow. . . I didn't expect this to relax ME when I started reading! Excellent description.
Author's Response: That was my intention, EW. I use the idea of the fic as biofeedback to relax myself, imagining I'm the one getting the massage. Pretending Jason's the one giving it to me doesn't hurt, either.

You've certainly described the massage experience very well! I'm hoping that this relaxed feeling lasts for Jason, and that he doesn't tense up again the moment 'work' comes calling! Although it would be nice to think that for Jason (if not Joe) this is all it takes to relieve him from those headaches and blurred vision.
Author's Response: Hi TJ! It was prescribed to me for migraines. Unfortunately, it didn't help with their occurrance, but I sure felt good right after I had the massages.

Omg I want one now! They are good once you get over that initial embarrassment feeling. Been a long time.
Nicely done!
Author's Response: Thanks Neph. Embarrassment slips away because it feels soooooo good.

I love how Jason slowly opens up as Amanda drives the tension away. I have never had a professional massage before. Sounds like a wonderful experience.
Author's Response: It is, Dragon. At my last one, I just thought Json could sure use one.

Very nice story, and it reminds me of the spa visit I had while in San Diego. I could see how someone like Jason would be mistrusting of any recommendations given by a doctor, let alone something that at first does not seem to affect the problem in question.
As an aside, somehow I have always imagined Jason being good at giving massages.
Author's Response:
Hi Cloud. I regularly get masages and love them. The idea came from an appointment screw up this week so I didn't get my massage and I was bummed. Maybe this is how Jason learned to give good massages.
