TJ, I just love this story and cannot wait until I'd have the time to read its continuation, which I've noticed is already posted! Thumbs up for how you're so well integrating all the surprises found along the story with canon! Such an insight of each and every character involved! Thanks a lot for a great, most welcome read!
Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it! It's always fun to have insight into the characters... especially when it's angsty. ;-)

great story, like the way you deal with how devastated the rest of the KNT was after Karakorum. Wonder what Joe's going to think of Ken's physical disabilities. Poor Jun alone again but for how long is the question? Some how I don't think she'll stay hidden for long. Looking foward to more.
Author's Response:
I figured that with two of the Team gone (practically half the Team) they truly would be devastated. I also see Jun as the 'heart' of the Team, meaning the one who tries to keep everything together. She's also Jinpei's most stabilizing influence. So without her, I really do think they'd fall apart. You can see it a little in Jigokillers Part 2 when they think she's dead.
As for what Joe thinks of Ken's disabilities... Joe's wondering how Ken could be so reckless as to have that happen in the first place. ;-)
You'll see what happens to Jun in the last part, which I'll post in early October.

Another great story, TJ. I like the way you integrated Getz and Mako into the story and dealt with Ken's physical condition. And poor Joe. Heart over mind.
Author's Response: Writing this, I always knew that Joe would return, but that he'd be reluctant to do it... even more so than in canon. Getz is part of canon as well, and given that they needed a female replacement, Mako seemed an obvious choice. We know from canon that she's tough, good with a gun and rides a motorcyle well.
