Though I have read this before, I decided to read it again when it popped up on the random story generator. I liked it as much now as I did in the past. In your intro you say it is not part of your current story arc. Perhaps at the time it was written that was so...and yet....I can see it fitting into the current story line you have going. However, honestly I do hope that Mark recovers and does not end up with a permanent disability....even if he does get his girl. Well done!

I usually read all of your stories but somehow I missed this one!.  When I saw the title I was very curious to see how you would handle a topic so unlike your regular stuff.  Great as usual.  Of course it is usually Jason who is hurt in stories.  To have it be Mark does add a nice twist to the inevitable Mark/Princess paring.

I really loved this! The idea that one of them could be permanently injured is so believable. It would definitely slow a person down and make them realize how important relationships are. Melted my little Eagle/ Swannie heart!
