Wow.  You are a master of painting pictures with words.  In addition to seeing the story in my mind, I could feel all the emotions that you wrote.  Amazing.  Thanks for sharing.

Author's Response: Thanks!  I'm glad you liked it!

LB, this is fantastic.

Even though I am an true Eagle/Swan admirer, I love the way Ken kicks Joe's ass, forcing the Condor to realize that he is making a mistake.

Now if only you could add a foot note where Ken is happy as well.  I would be exstatic.   ;)

Author's Response:

Thanks!

Now, stay tuned for my next fic, in which Ken falls in love with Dr. Pandora...  Kidding!!

If could have thought of a way for all three of them to be happy, I would have done it but, sadly, it's the inevitable fate of all love triangles that someone has to end up alone.

OMG!! I just finished reading this awesome story- you've covered every storyline that I loved from Gatch II- and you filled in the gaps so perfectly!! I was swooning and then cracking up at the end of the story. What a fabulous ending!! Oh LB, I am so glad you've shared your terrific talent with us!

Author's Response: Thanks!  This fic did give me an excuse to re-watch lots of Gatch II and Eagle Riders episodes and it was great fun trying to pick and choose scenes and shape them into the story that I wanted to tell.

So engaging!  I love how you wrote this trilogy from the point of view from Jun (Guinevere),  Ken (Uneasy Lies the Head that Wears the Crowns), and Joe (Knight-Errant).  There was so much angst that my heart was aching for all of them.  You have an amazing writing style and I look forward to reading your future fics!

Author's Response: Thanks!  It was an interesting challenge trying to get into the heads of the three different characters, and to present a story when the reader can only know  or see what one character knows or sees.

Beautifully written you had me glued the whole the way through....how he walked away even though he loved her...makes my heart race. (Not saying who, people have to read it themselves to find out.)

You're a telented writer and I look forward to reading more of your stories. :)

Author's Response: Thanks!  I know you understand the enjoyment to be had in tackling angsty romance -you do it so well yourself!

What a wonderful, angsty conclusion to your trilogy! I agonized with Joe, and at the same time just wanted to kick him in the a$$ and tell him what to do! I was so thrilled when Ken finally did that for me. I have a lot more respect for the Eagle after reading this, and I'm really hoping that Joe and Jun can hold onto their happy ending.

Oh yes, and that ending... *swoon*

Author's Response: Thanks!  I was trying to use Gatch II canon events as much as I could in this fic, but to me Gatch II never fully explained why Joe tried so very hard to keep it a secret that he was a cyborg (and succeeded for almost 27 episodes!) so I attempted to plausibly convey how he might be deeply ashamed/unhappy/traumatized about being a cyborg -but the big catch was that I had to keep him that way for so much of the fic in order to use episode 29 in the way I wanted to use it -I don't blame any reader for getting impatient with all his angst!  I'm very glad that you approve of Ken's ultimate actions in this fic.  I still feel a bit guilty for what I did to him in Uneasy.  It's no secret the Condor's my favourite, but I do like and respect the Eagle.
