This story is an excellent example of why you are one of the best BotP fanfic writers out there.  You really excel at mission-driven pieces.  You've clearly given a lot of thought into how the jump-drive works in your AU, and how it might fail.  You've clarified Jason's problems in earlier stories and you bring them to bear here, allowing him to rise above his physical limitations in a time of crisis, in part because he can finally accept that he needs to ask for help.  This provides for a nice progression and development of his character.  The use of Team 2 also works well here and allows for a smooth introduction to your second team.   I could have used a bit more description into how they finally fixed the big ship -- rewiring can only go so far -- and I thought the ending with the birthday party fell a little flat, given such a spectacular story and rescue.  But those are very minor details in an otherwise stellar story.  Nice job!

Delicate and thoughtful.  I like how Princess doesn't push, but lets Jason cope with his grief in his own way and time.

I enjoyed this very much.  There were places where the team's voices were so clear in my head that it was like I was watching the show.  Thanks for the great laughs!

I love this story, too, and I have also read it a number of times.  Everyone is true to character and I enjoyed the reference to Lori's "It's not healthy!" team psychiatrist.

I read this a while back and I enjoyed it just as much this time.  I like the contrast of the Condor as a warrior versus a pet owner.  I think he and the cat will get along quite well.  :)
